Privacy Policy — Cuvântul Final
In brief: Cuvântul Final can be played with an anonymous account or a connected Google account. We store the profile, preferences, and progress needed for the game. The player name, avatar, and score may appear on leaderboards. Ads are provided through Google AdMob when enabled. The account and associated data can be deleted from the app or through an external request.
1. Who controls the data
The operator of the application is D-WEB ENGINEERING SRL, with its registered office at Str. Col. Scarlat Demetriade no. 2, bl. G7, entrance 1, apt. 153, Craiova, Dolj County, Romania. For privacy questions or to exercise your rights, email dwebegineering.support@gmail.com.
2. Data we process
- Account and authentication: the Supabase technical identifier, anonymous-user status and, if you connect Google, information made available by Google, such as your email address, name, and profile image.
- Profile: player name, preset avatar or the connected Google account picture, and your choice about appearing in official videos.
- Preferences: settings for music, sound effects, vibration, and dictation.
- Gameplay and progress: challenges started, rounds, answers submitted, hints and letters requested, gameplay times, challenge status, scores, and results.
- Rewards and ads: hint and letter inventory, rewarded-ad events, provider transaction identifiers, and information required to prevent duplicate rewards.
- Technical and security data: information about errors, network requests, IP address, and device, to the extent processed by the infrastructure and providers used for operation, security, and abuse prevention.
- Communications: information you choose to send when requesting support or account deletion.
The app does not request contacts, location, microphone, or photo-library access for gameplay and does not support photo uploads. If you choose the Google option, the picture is read directly from the linked Google identity and is not copied into our storage.
3. How we use the data
- to create and maintain the account, restore progress, and synchronize between devices;
- to validate answers, calculate scores, operate leaderboards, and grant rewards;
- to personalize settings and provide support;
- to secure the service, prevent fraud, troubleshoot, and comply with legal obligations;
- to display and verify ads when this feature is enabled;
- to include your name, avatar, and results in official videos only if you enable the separate option in the app.
4. Legal bases
Depending on the circumstances, we process data to provide the service you requested, for our legitimate interests in security and service improvement, to comply with legal obligations, and on the basis of consent where required, including for certain advertising choices and appearances in videos. Consent can be withdrawn without affecting processing that took place before withdrawal.
5. Data visible to other users
Leaderboards may display the player name, avatar, and score. We do not publicly display your email address or internal account identifier. Choose a name and avatar that you are comfortable making visible to other players.
6. Providers and recipients
- Supabase: authentication, database, and server functions.
- Google: optional authentication and Google AdMob for ads, advertising consent, and reward verification.
- Firebase Hosting: hosting this page and its associated public resources.
Providers may process data in other countries. Where necessary, transfers rely on the legal mechanisms and safeguards offered by those providers. We do not sell personal data.
7. Retention and deletion
We keep account data while the account is active and for as long as needed for operation, security, and compliance with legal obligations. Deleting the account removes the authentication identity and associated data from systems under our control, including the profile, progress, inventory, and results. Temporary copies, security logs, or data held by providers may expire according to their retention cycles or may be kept where required by law or fraud prevention.

8. Security
We use encrypted connections, access controls, database-level security rules, and server functions to validate gameplay and rewards. No storage or transmission method can guarantee absolute security.
9. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or portability of your data and object to certain processing. You may withdraw consent through the app settings where that option is available. You may also lodge a complaint with the Romanian National Supervisory Authority for Personal Data Processing.
10. Younger users
The app is not specifically designed for children. If you are not old enough to accept these terms and this policy in your jurisdiction, use the app only with the permission and supervision of a parent or guardian.
11. Changes
We may update this policy when the app, providers, or legal requirements change. We will publish the updated version and date on this page and, where required, notify users in the app.
