Terms of Use — Hidden Word
1. About the app
Hidden Word, known as Cuvântul Ascuns in Romanian, is a multilingual word game published by D-WEB ENGINEERING SRL. Players rearrange letters, use hints, complete levels, and progress through illustrated zones. Using the app means accepting these terms and the Privacy Policy.
2. Accounts
You may start with an anonymous account and later connect Google. You are responsible for access to your device and account. Do not share tokens, codes, or authentication information. Google connection is also subject to Google’s terms.
3. Fair play
Answers, times, scores, stars, inventory, and rewards may be validated through application services. You must not modify the app, automate answers, exploit errors, manipulate ads, avoid limits, or attempt to access another user’s data. We may correct results or rewards obtained through error or abuse.
4. Hints and virtual items
Hints, stars, and other in-game benefits are virtual items intended only for use inside the app. They are not money, property, or financial credit, have no value outside the game, and cannot be transferred.
5. Official videos
You may separately enable the option allowing the display name and information about how eligible rounds were solved to be selected for official content. Participation is voluntary and can be disabled. For an already-published video, contact support to request a removal review.
6. Advertising
The app uses Google AdMob and may display a banner in the gameplay footer and interstitial ads after certain completed levels. You may separately choose to watch a rewarded video in exchange for a hint. The rewarded ad is optional; the game does not promise that an ad or reward will be available at any particular time.
Granting the hint depends on ad completion, provider verification, and application limits. Early closure, loss of connection, lack of ad inventory, or failed verification does not grant the reward. Ad availability and format may vary with app and server configuration, region, privacy choices, connection, limits, and provider availability.
7. Intellectual property
The app, artwork, maps, text, audio, brand, and code belong to D-WEB ENGINEERING SRL or its licensors. You receive a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence for personal use. Do not copy, redistribute, extract, or commercially exploit content without permission.
8. Availability and changes
We may modify, balance, add, suspend, or withdraw features, levels, and rewards for development, maintenance, security, or legal requirements. We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, permanent availability of a particular level, or compatibility with every device.
9. Liability
The app is an entertainment product. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect loss, third-party service interruptions, or progress lost for reasons outside reasonable control. Nothing in these terms limits mandatory consumer rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded.
10. Suspension and deletion
We may limit or suspend access for fraud, attacks, repeated abuse, or serious violations. You can delete your account as described on the Account deletion page.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by Romanian law without removing mandatory protections applicable to consumers in Romania and the European Union. We will attempt to resolve issues amicably before other proceedings.
